The swing plough and the plough substituted or completed working tools such as the hoe.

The swing plough is a symetrical tool : the soil was split open with similarities from each side of the furrow. In this case it is a light swing plough so-called « dental » ( shaft in the rear part of the stock) allowing work on a light or sandy soil.
